FE Accredited courses
Vision West Nottinghamshire College (VWNC) is a formal partner of the ADMC. They have campuses in Ashfield and Mansfield. They are working with NTU to provide seamless FE and HE education and training in the local region.
VWNC has a dedicated robotics and automation suite in its Engineering building, which is home to a range of robots from the UK-based robotics company ABB, as well as their partnership with Italy-based robotics specialist, Comau. Equipment is pre-loaded with learning lessons and outcomes to teach automation and robotics at various levels.
Separately, they have a HAAS Automation assembly line, currently in OL114, which is being upgraded by the electrical controls specialist, PNE Controls. The suite also boasts a dedicated LRC and computer suites, hybrid workstations, 3D printers, and more.
VWNC offers a range of Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 courses:
- Engineering (Beginner) - Level 1
This one-year course is designed to provide an insight into the world of engineering with access to workshops, tools, equipment, and facilities.
