The partners will also work to ensure that this offer is adapted to meet future automation developments and requirements.

Discover Ashfield
Discover Ashfield was set up in 2017 to promote and encourage investment in Ashfield. It includes representation from a wide range of business, community and public sector bodies, including academies, further and higher education, and Mansfield and Ashfield 2020. The board is chaired by a representative of the business community. It worked with Ashfield District Council to shape the Towns Fund bid which led to the creation of the ADMC. Discover Ashfield's collective mission is to promote Ashfield in a positive manner and in doing so: Develop pride and aspiration in our communities Encourage and promote inward investment with the support of businesses and educators Help people improve their health and wellbeing Support tourism and the visitor economy Through the Ashfield Ambassadors, lobby locally and nationally to improve the prosperity and success of Ashfield.

Ashfield District Council
Ashfield District Council is responsible for the Ashfield local government district in Nottinghamshire, England. There are three towns in the district: Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Hucknall. Working with Discover Ashfield and a range of partner organisations, Ashfield District Council has ambitious plans for the regeneration of Ashfield, inward investment to it, and generating economic and skills benefits for its residents. The ADMC represents an initial £20m investment from the Government Towns Funding provided to Ashfield District Council. The ADMC project is being managed by Place Directorate of the Council, which has responsibility for Planning, Regeneration and Strategic Housing.

West Nottinghamshire College
West Nottinghamshire College (WNC) is a general further education college based in Mansfield and Ashfield, which is committed to being a force for raising aspirations across the communities that it serves and to working in partnership with employers to create the workforce of the future. WNC teaches over 3,000 16-18 year olds and 1,000 apprentices every year, along with around 5,000 adults on a range of programmes. WNC is a strategic partner of the ADMC and will provide a range of accredited programmes linked to automation, primarily at Levels 2 and 3. Over the last two years, it has also invested almost £2m in developing is automation and robotics curriculum, which it has designed in partnership with local employers. This work will be based at WNC's Sutton campus, adjacent to the location of the ADMC. The campus also contains the UK’s first Gene Haas Centre for Advanced Manufacturing, which has brought a major investment in engineering facilities and training programmes for students, apprentices and employers. Once completed, students will also has access to the range of facilities and equipment available from the ADMC.

Nottingham Trent University
Established in 1843, Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has a long history of unlocking potential, breaking down barriers and making a real difference to lives around the world. With over 40,000 students and staff spanning five university sites, NTU is one of the largest and most influential higher education institutions in the country. NTU is committed to driving forward meaningful change and it has received a wide range of prestigious awards for its research, dynamism, and innovation. It has also won many University of the Year awards in recent times including winning The Times and The Sunday Times Modern University of the Year in 2023 and the Whatuni Student Choice Awards for 2023. NTU is committed to supporting the regeneration of the Ashfield and Mansfield areas of Nottinghamshire. They have agreed to be a strategic partner for research and teaching at the ADMC, working seamlessly with West Nottinghamshire College. NTU will invest in a dedicated automation team, to be based at the ADMC and working alongside the ADMC’s staff. As members of the Engineering Department, their work will focus on collaborative and bespoke research and development. NTU students will also be able to access the facilities and equipment available within the ADMC as part of their studies. NTU are also delivering the Enterprising Ashfield project, funded from Ashfield District Council’s successful Government Towns Fund bid. This provides support to businesses, residents, and employees within the Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield Towns Fund areas. This £7.6m project (£3.8m from the Towns Fund) will run until March 2026 and will be a comprehensive, dynamic, and responsive programme, building direct access to university research, expertise, and facilities. It will provide support to enhance business productivity and improve the skills of residents and employees. Enterprising Ashfield will offer support to businesses looking to automate, utilising its Research and Development strand.

Swiftool Precision Engineering
Swiftool Precision Engineering (SPE) Limited was established in 1977 and has been owned by the Handley family since 1985. Today, the company is a first choice vendor to a global customer base, supplying safety critical parts to the nuclear, petrochemical, and more recently aerospace markets. They have won multiple high profile awards for quality, delivery, innovation and work place culture. SPE is a progressive, UK award winning company supplying high integrity precision machined components, kits, precision machined assemblies and fabrications to clients. They are recognised as part of the Next Generation programme for Nuclear and are trusted for their commitment and high levels of expertise. SPE's growth is fuelled by strategic investment, including in automation. Continual Improvement and Innovation is at the core of everything they do. At times, this is supported by external expertise and resource. SPE are a strategic partner of the ADMC. They have used their experiences of automation to date to shape the design and development of the centre. They aim to use it fully when it opens.

Nottingham County Council
Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) is the upper-tier local authority for the non-metropolitan county of Nottinghamshire in England. The county council is based at County Hall in West Bridgford. Supporting the county council are seven district councils with responsibility for local services such as housing, planning applications, licensing, and council tax collection Ashfield is one of these district councils. They work closely with NCC to deliver the full range of local authority services to Ashfield residents and businesses. In September 2023, Ashfield District Council agreed in principle to purchase the land for the ADMC and wider Innovation and Technology Park from Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC). It chose to sell the land to enable the development to proceed as a key part of the region’s Levelling Up agenda. This will help to bring high skilled job opportunities into areas where such opportunities have not always been available. The ADMC development has the full support of NCC. They are an active member of the ADMC's project advisory group.
