An Exciting Opportunity
Matters have progressed well with the ADMC and I wanted to update you on an exciting commercial opportunity that you and your organisation may be interested in.
Ashfield District Council has decided to commence a procurement process to appoint a commercial operator for the ADMC. The procurement will follow a Competitive Flexible Procedure and will be managed by Nottinghamshire County Council. The successful operator will become integral part in delivering this significant project for the local and regional manufacturing and fulfilment business base.
13th Mar 2025
In order for you to find out more, we would like to invite you to an initial group engagement event, via a Teams meeting, to review this opportunity further. We will tell you more about the chosen operating model, the updated plans for the ADMC and the procurement process being undertaken. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and to discuss this opportunity.
We have initially organised two dates for these events:
- 25 March 2025 at 13.00
- 31 March 2025 at 10.00
We hope that you and/or colleagues will be able to join one of these events.
You can view the Prior Information Notice issued by Nottinghamshire County Council at https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/008904-2025
For consistency, we are asking all organisations to who would like to join an event and/or to express interest in being part of this procurement process to contact Jamie Burton - jamie.burton2@nottscc.gov.uk. In return you will be sent the ADMC Intent to Go to Market Power Point Information Pack.
An invitation to join the Teams meeting you have selected will subsequently be forwarded to you.
You will be able to submit any clarification questions to Jamie. He will respond to these promptly.
This activity marks an important stage in the development of the ADMC, as we look to open it in April 2026. We look forward to seeing you at one of the events to discuss more.
Kind regards
The ADMC Team
