West Nottinghamshire College
West Nottinghamshire College (WNC) is a general further education college based in Mansfield and Ashfield, which is committed to being a force for raising aspirations across the communities that it serves and to working in partnership with employers to create the workforce of the future.
WNC teaches over 3,000 16-18 year olds and 1,000 apprentices every year, along with around 5,000 adults on a range of programmes.
WNC is a strategic partner of the ADMC and will provide a range of accredited programmes linked to automation, primarily at Levels 2 and 3.
Over the last two years, it has also invested almost £2m in developing is automation and robotics curriculum, which it has designed in partnership with local employers.
This work will be based at WNC's Sutton campus, adjacent to the location of the ADMC. The campus also contains the UK’s first Gene Haas Centre for Advanced Manufacturing, which has brought a major investment in engineering facilities and training programmes for students, apprentices and employers.
Once completed, students will also has access to the range of facilities and equipment available from the ADMC.
